About Me!
The Googoolia is representative of my research activities and status.
I have done my PhD (between 2010 to 2014) at Electrical Engineering department of University of Bologna under the supervision of Prof. Luca Benini who is a professor at ETHZ as well as UNIBO.
After PhD, I joined Microelectronics System Design Research Group, TU Kaiserslautern for post-doc.
After post-doc, I started working for a Germaneers GmbH, on development of PCI Express based, high-performance data storage and processing solutions using FPGAs. The main application of the product was autonomous driving for cars. The project was done for Audi.
At 2016, I joined Magna Electronics EU (Munich), where I worked on design and implementation of surround view systems for cars using FPGAs. The main customers for our product were Ford and Toyota.
At 2020, I joined Blickfeld GmbH, a company specialized in creating high-performance, accurate and cost-efficient LiDARs.
I consider myself an experienced embedded system designer, who has been deeply involved in creating real-world products for various applications.
My other web-site Green-Electrons is representative of my activities and products for the Industry. Currently the two web-sites are the same.
The main directions for my activities are design and implementation of energy efficient interfacing solutions using heterogeneous re-configurable platforms like the Xilinx ZYNQ and ZYNQ Ultrascale+.
I run a YouTube channel where I create educational videos on FPGA design with ZYNQ and ZYNQ Ultrascale+ platforms. Currently the channel contains ~50 educational videos.
